Coordinates

A series of works based on geographical coordinates and specific dates, where each piece serves as a point of intersection between physical and mental space. By merging memories and lived moments, the works do not merely represent concrete places, but also the crossing of ideas, emotions, and thoughts that our minds articulate when recalling events.

The use of acoustic insulation fabric, with its texture resembling that of pixels, reflects on the transformation of the digital into the physical, exploring how memory, like recollections, is fragmented and mutable. The work aims to give form to the ethereal, presenting only fragments of moments, as our memory does with time: selecting, hiding, and reconfiguring experiences.

Each coordinate is a meeting point between the lived and the remembered, a space where the viewer is invited to explore their own process of memory and reflection.
